The West Country has a reputation for being ‘backward’, slightly behind the times and lacking in excitement and entertainment for the young and lively.
Well, we have found that there is a lot more going on in this neck of the woods than cider-swigging Farmer Giles’. So much so that we are happy to recommend holding a stag weekend in Bristol, which is the largest city in the south west of England.
Bristol is within easy reach of the midlands, London and Wales, while it offers a city experience to those based deep down the south west tip.
Bristolians are known for their love of music with many famous bands hailing from here, so there is a great music scene consisting of cracking cultured pubs playing live music. Of course it would be rude not to have some cider while you are here as the Somerset brews are the best you can get.
You can also enjoy a wild night of clubbing while in Bristol, while on your recovery day why not check out some of the exciting outdoor activities that are on offer here, such as paintballing and off-road driving. It will not be hard to come up with a memorable stag weekend package if you choose Bristol as your party destination.
Bristol is not exclusively recommended for stags, so girls should also consider holding their hen night in Bristol too.
